Muneera and Altaf's Engagement

Muneera wanted her engagement party colors to resemble a "burfi mithai", which is a tri colored Indian sweet that tends to come in a bright yellow, hot pink, neon green and or white. We made that happen for her. A small intimate gathering of close friends and family in the backyard of her parent's home in Corte Madera, CA. Some things you know you can hold and cherish forever.

Raspberry Studio did centerpieces in a tall candle holder with an iron body and a glass topper. The fresh flowers were accented by dried roses. We used fluffy white hydrangea for the garden look, added miniature hot pink roses and touched up the flowers with some textured dried baby roses in yellow. Oh' and we can't forget the pop of the neon green mums.

The backyard was fit for wooden white chairs and shorter table cloths since the ground was uneven with pebble stones. It was all natural and that beauty was better not to cover up.

The dessert table was so yummy. Cream puffs, cakes from her favorite pastry place, marzipan fruits, jellies, fruits, chocolate's and I could go on and on. The table is decorated with artificial leaves that add texture to the natural surroundings. One item I really liked of the many ids the custom designed fabric frame. We used an expensive velvet fabric and framed it to make a backdrop on the table. Every little detail, even the graceful kitty on the table made it very special.

Raspberry Studio made the table napkins neon green and wow did they look amazing. Not many people would think a bright green can spark up a whole venue. We made the napkin rings with Indian bangles and tied golden butterflies on each. They looked magical.

The engagement party itself was magical.
